Ephesians 4:4-6 - 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Today, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, but it was no easy decision. God is a person who cannot be described in ordinary words. God is forgiving, loving, guiding, and more powerful than any human being. He proved that to me in a dream two years ago, which prompted my decision to be baptized. Although I don't remember all the details of my dream, it was this: I was being chased by a lion in a cornfield, and when I came to a gate, I shut it. As I stopped to catch my breath, I heard a voice behind me say, "Do not be afraid, look," and when I turned around, the lion, that was previously threatening my life, had sat down on his hind legs and was holding out his front paws like Jesus hung on the cross at his crucifixion. I woke up after that, but as soon as I did, I realized that man was, indeed, Jesus. I pondered, prayed, and processed that dream for many long hours, but in the end decided that baptism was a step in the right direction, so that one day I might know the fullness of God's love and mercy. For right now, I will live life to the fullest, living out my days as a daughter of the one true King.
